Welcome to Kicker Kountry ... and the Fun & Friendship we share together !!  Who are the Town & Kountry Kickers? ... Well, we're a friendly group of folks that welcome Couples and Solos to join us & have fun while dancing to Mainstream calls!Our Club is located in Stittsville, Ontario which is the western fringe of the city of Ottawa, and was founded in 1998. We dance in the gym at the Guardian Angels Catholic Elementary School, 4 Baywood Drive - a great hall with lots of room! We dance on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, led by our caller Geoff Clarke, who creates a relaxed, & fun atmosphere. We generally dance about 5 squares (40 dancers) each week. We welcome visitors to drop in at any time! Kickers are a Mainstream Club, dancing at the Mainstream level for all those who have completed the Basic program. We have lots of room for any visitors or guests to drop by at any time so don't be shy about visiting us! The Kickers are well known throughout the area for their enthusiasm and the fun that we have at all times whether it be on a dance floor somewhere or out together enjoying a social dinner prior to a dance. We have a great gang and there’s great camaraderie here! We are a very relaxed club, that enjoy having fun together, so why not check us out for yourself? While we have no special dress code, we do ask that you carry in soft-soled shoes to all dances to help protect our floors Why not drop by and share a square? |
